Irmingard is an NYC-based pole dance instructor and performer with a background in music and theater. She discovered pole dancing in 2009 and instantly fell in love with its blend of athleticism and artistry. She is the 2015 US National Pole Art Champion, 2014 Northeast Aerial Art Champion and 2014 Atlantic Pole Championships Dramatic Champion. She was a featured pole dancer with Guns N’ Roses for their residency at the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas. She also performed at the official after-party for Alexander Wang’s NY Fashion Week show. She has appeared in several major motion pictures as well as television programs utilizing her pole skills. Irmingard teaches at Body & Pole where she is also the studio’s Assistant Manager. She is a blogger and contributor for Bad Kitty where she assists with coverage of the pole dance industry. She believes pole dancing is an athletic art form that is physically challenging, mentally stimulating and emotionally healing.
